The sun card is all about the self, who you are, and how you cultivate your personality and character. The sun’s radiance is where one’s original nature can be encountered with safety. Let your light shine.
The Justice Card has to do with moral sensitivity, and that which gives rise to empathy and compassion, and a sense of fairness. This card is about humane treatment of other living beings. The Justice Card is saying you will need clear minded precision to make good decisions in your life.
The Star Card is about reconnecting one’s soul with the divine. It’s about transcending your personality, family situation, and community, and even your reputation, to something higher and greater.
The Temperance card makes reference to the soul. Just as metals undergo extreme temperature and pounding and folding to create an amalgam that is stronger than the individual metals, the Temperance card is suggesting that the soul and the personality are being challenged to become stronger.
The wheel of fortune, the card of cycles and change. The wheel just keeps on rolling, churning up events in a ceaseless progression of ups and downs.Either way, we are freed from the past. No one escapes the cycles.
The Moon card is all about sensitivity and intuition, diving deep into those mystical tides of life.
The Moon encourages us to expand our consciousness and to test that line between what we know to be ourselves and what is far beyond that.
I’m not an expert, but I sometimes use the tarot to read for clients and to find answers for myself. In the spirit of engaging our spirits with something greater than ourselves, I’ve created a series of short meditations based on the meanings of the Major Arcana from the traditional tarot card deck.
