Hello Creative Warriors!
Today, we will be discussing inclusion. I know that’s a hot button word these days, and I’m not interested in getting too controversial.
However, we’re going to take a look at the reality of the word – inclusion.
What it really mean? We’re going to break it down and look at the word inclusion and what it really means to your life.
The Internal Reality of Inclusion (VIDEO BELOW)
When thinking of inclusion, I’m talking about is, internally.
How inclusive are you with yourself?
How integrated are your thoughts and your feelings and your behavior?
The mind body spirit connection is very real.
So, I want to encourage you to look at the areas of your thought process and your personality and your energy and your spirit where you push it away, where you deny it.
What thoughts do you think you shouldn’t have? How do you judge yourself harshly?
What feelings do you think you shouldn’t have? What desires do you think are bad or wrong?
In that sense, you’re not being very inclusive with yourself. Right?
And this is important, because the more we want to push things inside of us off to the side and ignore them, or wish they weren’t there, it’s like feeding a hungry bear in the dark.
It’ll grow.
Same with your body.
What are the areas of your body that you don’t like? Do you wish there was a part you could change? What parts do you criticize?
Some people have real hatred for their bodies or body parts. In that sense, you’re not being very inclusive with yourself either.
This ends up creating dark patches, in your energy field and in your spirit.
What about in your psychology,? This is where the darkness can continue to grow and create more of a division within yourself.
These are important things to look at because the more inclusive you are with the totality of who you are internally the easier it is to be inclusive externally.
So, it seems disingenuous to talk about inclusion on an external basis when so many people walk around not fully appreciating who they are inside. That’s projection isn’t it?
Let’s understand that self acceptance in the areas where you are hurting or judging yourself doesn’t mean you’re going to collapse into that darkness. You don’t need to act on that darkness.
You just need to recognize that it’s there first.
Then you can ask for healing. Ask for knowledge around that darkness. That way you can heal it and integrate it into the rest of your being and ultimately become wiser.
And then life externally becomes a lot easier.
You become a lot more accepting of what is, because you’ve accepted what’s inside of you. And when you think of it… that’s all there is to life anyway. Your own internal perception of life.
When you do given up the struggle inside, there’s less of a need to struggle externally.
Here’s a point of consideration… the next time you hear someone talk about inclusion, maybe ask yourself where you may not be as inclusive with yourself. There could be some very legit reasons why you don’t want to be as inclusive on the outside as you think you ‘should’.
No judgement.
It’s a place to start and as you consider where you many not be as inclusive with yourself, externally, things become easier.
And you know, when lots of us do that, our society becomes safer and easier to live in.
So, I hope this perspective on inclusion has given you something of value to think about.
Thank you for reading. I wish you a very prosperous day.
