Meditation On The Meaning of The STAR Card In Tarot With Music

Posted on October 6, 2023June 17, 2025 By Writers Nexus No Comments on Meditation On The Meaning of The STAR Card In Tarot With Music

 I like the tarot.

I’m not an expert, but I sometimes use them to read for clients and to find answers for myself.

To read the tarot well, I believe it’s a combination of using your intuitive sense, understanding the intention of each tarot card and connecting energetically with their client.

In short, TAROT is an art form.

It seems the earliest references to tarot date to the 1440s and 1450s. This is contrary to the general assumption that the tarot are thousands of years old.

The tarot started as a card game. Tarot cards used the standard Italian four face cards—king, queen, knight, and knave—for a total of 56 cards. The fool card was a wild card and there were 21 trump cards.

Tarot is a game of trick taking.

Even though there are many, mostly minor variations to the rules of the game, it hasn’t changed much since the 15th century.

It’s interesting to note that the tarot only became a tool of psychics, fortune tellers and the occult in the 19th century. The current day tarot has nothing to do with the medieval tarot cards.

So, I’ve created this series of short meditations based on the meanings of the Major Arcana as a creative way to share their significance. I’ve set them to music too. I hope you enjoy them.

In the spirit of engaging our spirits with something greater than ourselves, I’ve created a series of short meditations based on the meanings of the Major Arcana from the traditional tarot card deck.

I’ve set them to music too. I hope you enjoy them.

TRANSCRIPT OF THE MEDITATION ON THE STAR CARD OF TAROT

The Star Card.

The Star Card is about reconnecting one’s soul with the divine. It’s about transcending your personality, family situation, and community, and even your reputation, to something higher and greater.

Ultimately, it’s about the freedom to be yourself. The star card helps us to remember about our divine origins and connection to something higher.

The star card reminds us that we are agents of the divine and we can use this higher guidance in our day to day lives.

If we give up the idea that we are supposed to be in control, we can more easily notice and appreciate the synchronicities that are nudging us along.

In this way, we become more conscious of the invisible help we get from moment to moment, and we can better understand our place on this earth and in the cosmos.

The star car cautions that you may sometimes feel alienated from your own brilliance and sense of purpose. Dig deep and find your own unique talents and gifts.

These come from the divine. It’s your job to learn how to apply them to any situation your life brings you.

The star card advises that you rededicate yourself to higher values, increase your spiritual cultivation and meditation practice,

ultimately surrender to the greater good. Listen to that voice within you.

Anything that would interfere with your communion with the divine power is not in your best interest right now.

You are a star. Be the star of your own life. This is what the star card is saying. Let it be so.

Let It Be So…
