Tarot Meditation On The Meaning of THE LOVERS Card With Music

I’m not an expert, but I really enjoy using the tarot. I sometimes read the cards for my clients, as well as, to find answers for myself.

To read the tarot well, I believe it’s a combination of using your intuitive sense, understanding the intention of each tarot card and connecting energetically with their client.

In short, TAROT is an art form.

It seems the earliest references to tarot date to the 1440s and 1450s. This is contrary to the general assumption that the tarot are thousands of years old.

The tarot started as a card game. Tarot cards used the standard Italian four face cards—king, queen, knight, and knave—for a total of 56 cards. The fool card was a wild card and there were 21 trump cards.

Tarot is a game of trick taking.

Even though there are many, mostly minor variations to the rules of the game, it hasn’t changed much since the 15th century.

It’s interesting to note that the tarot only became a tool of psychics, fortune tellers and the occult in the 19th century. The current day tarot has nothing to do with the medieval tarot cards.

So, I’ve created this series of short meditations based on the meanings of the Major Arcana as a creative way to share their significance.

The Lovers card…

The energy of this card reminds us of the real challenges posed by romantic relationships.

Oftentimes, we are required to make a difficult choice.

A path of pleasure can distract us from spiritual growth.

Yet, a truly deep, loving partnership can raise our energy, can raise our spiritual energy.

This can be a bond of any type; a deep bond with a family member, sibling, or parent,.

Maybe even a intertwined business relationship where two people need each other for the business to work.

Whatever type of partnership, the Lovers card forces you to look out.

The end choice is evolution over immediate pleasure or perfection. What we see is perfection.

Choose growth. Do not succumb to fantasy. That’s what the lovers are saying. Reality can be so much deeper and sweeter.

The lover’s card insists that you move ahead wholeheartedly.

Do not split your energies with a double standard.

Say what you have to say and move on. Or don’t.

Either way, you must own your life and the choices you make.

and the responsibilities to the partners you choose to share your life with.

Make wise choices and consider long term investments of your time, money, and energy.

There is no judgment, but be willing to make some compromises, and then stick with your commitments. This works with love or business.
